I've never really been big on pharmaceutical drugs to make anyone feel better...I truly believe that this world was made with every natural cure possible for us to heal ourselves..(maybe that's just the Native in me)..anyways, I have come across a few videos that I think will give you a great laugh...because laughter is really the best medicine....Let's see just how bad you feel after these videos!!!

The saddest movie in history...

So, I decided that yesterday I would have a movie day with my beautiful sister...I saw this preview on television called "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" and since I was always fascinated with World War II movies and the Holocaust, I thought why not go see this movie?

So off to Bloor St. we went since it was only in selected theaters, we bought our yogen fruz and popcorn and sat down comfortably in our seats. The movie started off a bit slow, but turned into a SERIOUS tear jerker. After the devastating ending to this movie (me, being all optimistic about these things) the WHOLE theater sat in their seats as the credits rolled. I can honestly say, I have never seen such a devastating, sad ending as this movie. It shocked me. And I don't think I have ever been so moved by a movie before. It still is haunting me.

So in conclusion, if you would like to see a movie that will move you from your couch to China, watch The Boy in the Striped Pajama's.

THE GET-RID-OF-HIM BIBLE!!!!!

After talking to one of my most amazing friends, Ashley, she told me about this book that I just HAD to read. So, without hesitation, I said OK! Since I was already looking for a book to read, I thought, "Why not?" After being a little hesitant about finishing the book in 30 minutes like she said I would do, I went home..and to my surprise, I finished it in 20. 

Now, I don't know if you ladies have read this book, BUT I have to say..that my eyes are ten times more wider, and now my past relationships are just a little more clear..He just wasn't that into me. And I can dig it...I just wished I had this book back then.

Not only was this an interesting read..it was written by a man...so you know you are getting the raw, nitty gritty, in-your-face truth. My highest recommendation! 

So ladies, here are some quick quotes that I bookmarked that just needed to be said:

1.  Oh sure, they say they're busy. They say that they didn't have even a moment in their insanely busy day to pick up the phone. It was just that crazy. Bullshit. With the advent of cellphones and speed dialing it is almost impossible not to call you.

2. Here's something else to think about: Calling when you say you're going to is the very first brick in the house you are building of love and trust. If he can't lay this one stupid brick down, you ain't never gonna have a house, baby. And it's cold outside.

3. So if a guy you're dating doesn't call when he says he's going to, why should that be such a big deal? Because you should be dating a man who's at least as good as his word.

4. It's about the guy who wants you, calls you, makes you feel sexy and desired fully. He wants to see you more and more often because every time he sees you, he likes and then loves you more and more.

5. If he were into you, he would be having a hard time keeping his paws off you. Oh, the simplicity of it all! If a man is not trying to undress you, he's not into you.

6. Cheaters are people who have a lot of stuff to work out, and they're working it out on your time and with your heart.

7. Bad boys are actually bad. 

8. Don't spend your time on and give you heart to any guy who makes you wonder about anything related to his feelings for you. 

9. If you feel that he's  always holding something back, or that you're spending a lot of energy trying to change yourself into something you think will make him happier, then divorce yourself from him and MOVE ON. Don't let him make you feel stupid about wanting to feel loved.

10. There's a guy out there who's going to be REALLY happy you didn't get back together with your crappy ex-boyfriend.

Tea Connoisseur

I woke up this morning feeling...refreshed. Revitalized. Strong. 

I poured a mug of white tea which was called White Tiger, and I can honestly say, if I was ANY animal right now, there wouldn't be a better animal suited for me. I feel pure, like someone just showered me anew. There is nothing more beautiful than sunny days like today. Sometimes there are days, like today for instance, where I just feel like I'm in a movie and I'm just waiting to see what happens in the next scene. I don't know if that sounds really corny, but it's true. I truly feel like I'm supposed to be exactly where I am. Sitting in my class. Writing this blog. I feel complete. And I'm ready.

It's weird how when you think everything is how it should be, you wake up one day, look over your shoulder and say goodbye to the way of life you thought was designed for you. 

For you, who knows who you are, thank you for our kingdom we once reigned, thank you for showing me how to be strong, and thank you for opening up the door.
